Banks are like these Beams? My thoughts. What not to salvage: What's rot? How long did it last? Now What?

Political Races like replacing porches, decks are the least of the problems you find when you see real decline. What happens to banks/beams hundreds of years old? What do you do to them? Compost them!

What happens when the foundation under what appears to just be damaged, like the banks and our economy, the dollar, and the future Wii see, but it just gets worse the more you can see?
