Can you see a Tiny House front on the driveway? Watch it manifest using Organic SpaceMagic Design.
Their first house build, family from afar to help, family that also has not built a tiny house before... with a "Can Do Attitude they will succeed"!
What could this become one day soon? A Great Retreat from the city is being built on the land by the family for the future. Without any real building experience, they are going after it and succeeding. The second load of wood, windows, and doors is laid out in the driveway to give them an idea of what they will build. Can you see it yet? Now imagine trying to stand it up when finished and locking down the braces with only two strong guys and one to help set screws and braces while others hold it steady without falling off the backside. The tricks are possible but still a challenge.
As we put it together there are a few changes from the sketches, but so far, pretty close to the original sketches. The stairwell became a ladder to the upper loft… much more space above than before, in fact, 150 SF of usable bedrooms for two double beds, dresser, sitting area all up above. The original package for the Essay House would have been dramatically smaller… 10’ x 10’ would not have been enough to live in with two kids if one had to bail from the city and live on the land… but this is 12’6” x 14’6” so roughly 175 SF downstairs with 150 up for a total of 325 SF portable untaxable as a house in Texas space. NO code to stop them from using DC current only or not having a huge amount of AC wiring all around it to add EMF issues in a tiny house. NO toxins for the kids to breathe when they go out there and stay. Truly when they are done, the house will be extraordinarily sturdy, a great example of a sustainable house that is going to be energy efficient and last for many decades.
Here is the back wall before we modified it a bit. It will not look like this now but you can check back and see what comes once they put it on the floor.
So the first trailer left with the puzzles in a picture and imagination in their heads. What would they create from that image and design? Subscribers who pay to learn will see… and if you do, thank you for your support. After here each time the best stuff comes to light.
