Giant house prices crashing down, buyers can't afford what's found. Why not build out smaller houses where demand is growing upward?
Does everyone want wasted space houses built out of shitrock, paint, concrete, & carpets? NO, so the prices goes down as they fall, buyers looking for tiny instead of just tall. Build Small!
Yes, the market for giant houses is shrinking so fast that prices are dropping as the Boom turns to Bust. Do you think that everyone will just keep buying when they find that no one else will take their place when falling down into disgrace? What happens when the selling starts? Is this a race? It’s not an Art. Yes, who can drop their price to be the one that sells so quickly that no price drops, repairs, or more must be done to dump the chores? Yes, mowing lawns and feeding grasses to keep up with the neighborhood classes where the HOA makes sure you mow and clean or they fine you. Fair? I would call that nuts, yet they plant their huts in the gated community so that no one can be different, simply beige or white, some way to homogenize until you realize it is a trap unless you think that is right.
Tell me, if you can, my friends, what happens when financing ends, and interest rates hit well over 10% like they were when I came to Texas in 1984? No one talks of the Real Estate wars of that decade when banks, investors, and builders fell before the bailout and let the rich buy up the houses most would lose when crushed. That crash back when few of you were born, when the values had never been more, yet dropped so fast that the financial blast created quite a mess. It was a time that ended in a massive bloody crash and builders’ bankrupt blood, like a flood, took down contractors on their path to disappearing from the scene; those who survived were very lean. Austin had over 600 home builders before the 1984 crash and afterward less than 60, bankruptcy the only way to be on the path to start again. How is it now when investors crow about the down times past but seldom talk of the biggest of the walks down the Boom & Bust that ends the dreams of all who thought they could call their home great savings? Does no one see that it’s time to agree there comes a truly massive fall as the banks are broke and so few have what you call security or jobs they see go poof? I spoke of the fundamental things we see. Be prepared for the foreclosures that will be happening, and just in case you can not see, there are still ways to thrive and be the solution, not a victim in need. If you are ready, you could buy, but why not create a new generation of healthy, sustainable quality houses that will become the range for the many who may want to live more simply, thus arranged?
Suppose you are not paying attention to housing prices and the call for smaller, simpler places beyond the cities and the walls. Instead of missing out on the trends, why not take advantage of the chance to build smaller and more affordable housing instead of cheaper quality and bigger boxes that are inefficient uses of space and boring as a rock. Join me in creating the means and kids to grow a more sustainable community once the Boom Goes Bust once more? Join me in my celebration of the freedom found when you are not trapped in paying for a house that you have seen but no one ever wants to buy with so many all around that no one can afford to keep up as they were not built to last long.
Talk to others if you want to know the path that many now can go to building smaller houses so the masses can afford a house and get out of the storm. You do not need a mansion, a giant entryway, a big garage, or a big fenced yard to live happily. You might decide to build with pride a tiny home for thee that the taxes will stay low on and won’t use much electricity if you wanted one to last you for a lifetime, not be free. Yes, paying for something smaller will cost you some money and time, but then owning it quickly makes more sense, not just rhyme. You will see no interest on the loan it takes to buy the parts, and free; the labor you put into it is not taxed. Your friends and family could all help, then build one for them.
NO interest for the parts and loans that make it possible. Create a place to build and share, to grow a community. Be the catalyst and show what you could bring for free. Inspiration, skills, and knowledge of a path you could share with the wealth of parts and pieces it would take to make this fair. Yes, all you need without the creed of “Debt bound till you die” that seems to be the anthem for the ones who still must buy a mansion that costs them so much they give their life to pay for the chance to live inside the house… then give it up one day. Short-selling all the way. (Contact Darby@Puresalvageliving.com for information of packages of materials to make such dreams come true)
No one can keep a giant home, feed it tax or heat, cool it in the summertime, and maintain it nice and neat without working till the day they die or working so much they rarely find the time to savor what they have. Instead, they fear their loss of wealth, and their bodies fail due to poor health from eating all they see, drinking heavily, smoking, and greed. The body takes the hit, and then the wealth is not the thing that brings up happiness, instead of thinking you’re special in your head.
Let your legacy be the life you live, the many good deeds instead of the houses, the cars, or jewelry, or the Real Estate you own as your only great deed. Make your life special by creating with me solutions for others, genuine communities where the people live together, not closely apart, and neighbors are helpful, a life full of art.
