"Heaven On the Brazos" w/ a view but: it took a miraculous delivery that Nearly Killed Mii!!!
STEEP incline was so great that brakes on semi-truck pulling trailer w/house locked the tires, skid marks 15' before driver took his foot off brake, veered, stopped house w/ tree, not Mii!
This house hides the close calls and difficulty it was to deliver it to a place that no other could have. Truly the incline was nearly 45 degrees,I with a jog in the middle at about 100’ down a 250’ road that took us right so suddenly that the driver ended in a ditch, the house stopped by a tree, and both had nearly killed me when they bout ran over mii. It’s true, not some exaggeration. If I had my arm out, it would've broke when he got so close with his bumper and grill. I do not joke. He slid on acorns and branches, too, a sweep I suddenly realized was something we should do as my life passed fast before my eyes, watching the whole rigs skid straight, fast too.
Luckily the things wii did to jack up the truck and trailer got us to the bottom after some pauses, prayers, and other things. The crane, a 65-ton monstrous load, did not think he could get back up if he went down where the house was meant to go, it’s true, it took an hour with the manual and supervisor to approve the drive down cause the angle was so that the oil light went on in the truck to show… danger!
Did you notice which side your favorite doorknob might be on that would not get you into this house without confusion?
Do you remember my second to last delivery where I nearly died by getting run over by my house and truck? Heaven on the Brazos, delivered after the flood I predicted, warned them to raise the foundation for, and thanks to being late, them doing just that after the flood, I lived to put this incredible house on that space at a very hard time in my life, and it nearly cost me my life too.
Bryl, my ex-love story, having moved away, slit her wrists, took a bottle of ibuprofen, and jumped in a pool to commit suicide. I pray regularly for those caught up in such drama and depression that they take their own lives. She was only 43, a girl I loved who went away to be with a young man I still called a friend, and her with blessings and my love.
I nearly died delivering that house that day, saved by angels and miracles in a way. 6" more and I would have been likely dead, but I lived on, and she did not, her mother’s attempt to Starflight and save her when finding Bryl in her pool was not enough to save her life, unplugged 10 days later... too soon.
Heaven on the Brazos holds many memories for me of a Heaven that I hope Bryl found when she chose to go away. While I doubt it, I still pray that she comes back to try again and perhaps stays in a house I built to say goodbye to them. The past that Wii can salvage is the one wii must grow with to create a better future where our children want to live. Please help me craft solutions that can come from what looks like damned Houses, barns, and people who are still good for much ahead.
This is not just about the wood, the windows, or the doors but truly about what Wii could be salvaging that's more. The lives of people past who built these houses with their hearts. The windows that were made when children brought the coal used out. Respect the trees and the work it took to craft them into boards that would last thousand years if wii take good care of them. I pray my Songs of Salvage to live on longer than I do as they form the houses, rhymes, and seeds to grow more in the dawn. Dreams will weave around the images I toss about that prove what wii can do with trash and imagine our acts. Action transforms everything that makes life a better game where our love creates solutions that don't hurt, and all can gain.
Be the example. Be the proof. Create the housing that provides the roof for a tiny home or a village kitchen, a place to grow with great intention. Please let those know who might think it’s the end. Please give it hope and then try again. Don't give up, for the proof is here; you can salvage the past to make millions secure. I need your help to grow dreams with results, so if you will share, I will bear the insults. Some think mii crazy for the things that I do, but I offer them up as the best form of truth that functions as evidence. You can live in my Truths.
150-year-old roofing shingles on the walls with granite on the floor, a shower to adore. Look at that sink cabinet for a sweet mix of curves in and out.
The porch rope railing is not on here, but it was a great addition. See the rope but not the many drill bits that could not go through those cedar posts that were 100-plus years old.
This is one of the two bedrooms above the bar hidden in the stairwell below—nice little getaway on the Brazos River just 35’ below the floor of the house. The flood I predicted and warned them to raise the foundation for came after our late delivery proved this forecast true, and flooded up to where the floor would have been before.
The other bedroom is for the queens and kings that get to share a night of dreams in this Art House that will pass on to the next generation.
What will you do with the incredible wood from the past? The windows that few seem to be able to match need to be saved, and resourced to create tiny houses that will be tax write-offs instead of paying for wars. This is a path to creating wealth with salvage in the form of portable buildings that fit the Loopholology Ethos of saving the past to create a better future with money spent on housing instead of war.
