How big is your wave of enlightenment? How much hOMe? Are such spaces worth dying for?
Once you find the most important thing in life, worth more than job, money, or home is your health... staying pain free, feeling young, not getting sick like others...
So many people continue with bad behavior that leads to illness, symptoms of diet, occupation, or simply your lifestyle, perhaps too much sitting for example. The impact on children and young adults will last a lifetime, long after they learn it is killing them slowly, or more quickly depending on how far down the path of self-destruction they have traveled. Once bad habits and addictions are started and adhered to for a dozen years, it is very hard to break back into what is healthy.
Children who follow the example set by their parents and TV are doomed it appears to jelly-like bodies and statures that have little agility, muscle, or speed to propel them through the life of challenges ahead. Perhaps they will not need the fit body that Physical Education Classes in school or the military teach. It is the dietary schooling lost in Home Education classes that once taught cooking, home economics, checking accounts, menus, and such to create healthy families when the children grew up. Much of that is lost and not being taught at home.
Our body is not intended to suck up the massive calories, preservatives, artificial sugars, flavors, colors, sugars, and refined carbohydrates but billions of people shove them in their mouths by the spoon and forkful meal after meal. The justifications for this center around the need to work, drive, or other things that are supposedly preventing them from getting exercise, stopping eating excessively. Ample science that gets ignored proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is mostly such behavior that amongst other things is causing weight gain that leads to diabetes, heart disease, liver problems, kidney failure, cancer, and other such known consequences of a typical industrialized society diet. People claim they work at these occupations and commute or abuse their bodies so they can have money to live in big houses or areas that are also toxic.
By most people’s standards, eating out was a relatively common event in the last forty years of fast food but that could change and the costs going up limit the availability. Now that a sit-down restaurant in the city can start with plates at $15 and go to $29, a meal for a family of five can hit a hundred bucks… boom! Has pay climbed as fast as the cost of food? Are people breaking bad habits, this eating less, a better quality so as to downsize their body, their vessel that makes life Heaven or Hell on Earth if you are in serious pain, or worse, dead over the simple flu or cold, a complication from diabetes amputations, etc?
