"No-Name Cabin" NOT "SpaceMagic Design" Example #1 Not a favorite born from TTH's Manifestation Bay.
Once I agreed to let a gardner/nanny of client design a house. I agreed to custom-build before seeing what he wanted. I am not proud, actually banned his visits before done.
Somehow you may wonder at the spaces in this example of a box with features never built again. Understand this sits upon hill, a dream view of Lake Travis outside Austin, Tx., this is true, with massive winds of great concern to me when I went to build. Still the front porch roof was just as wide as the entire house on the back side.
While it sat above a cliff so fine, they did not pack the Earth to wise, nor the footings that slipped over time, not much in fact, but again, not mine.
I got to design the kitchen for the colors and the fold-down counter and walls but the bath design except the shower walls is another sign where I had to compromise.
The loft you can not really see was not as tall as me on the highest side and to the left not high enough for a mattress and my feet upright. Great night for short people perhaps.
I like the round porthole to the bathroom where the entertainment would be fun to watch. Don’t you?
I did my best to satisfy and built what they wanted though I was not shy about saying I did not approve of the 21 light electrical boxes it took to wire all the lights and outlets in this tiny house. There are so many things that wii never did again that I would not want to waste the time explaining all of them. I will simply say if you have the time one day, see the other Art Houses I did in other ways. some that you can see behind, the “Ark”, “Writers Cottage”, “Hill Country Vicky”, and “Big Brother” are all in their incubation periods and not yet rolled out into the sunshine to harden into reality.
