Once upon a time a Dream manifested w/ Tiny Texas Houses sitting in the trees... Mascots.
The Mascot, a symbol for our 1st Decade, is available as a material package for you to Homestead your version of Salvage, Texas where ever that may be.
Yes, Barnwood, battens, windows, door, floors, ceilings, roofing, wall cladding inside and trim for all the doors and windows, true vintage quality wood. No imports, no plastics, no toxins outgassing from the incredible materials created from 1,000+-year-old trees cut long ago. The materials like flooring and siding were milled before electricity and by our ancestors long ago who worked daylight to dark for tokens in Texas Lumber Industry, not dollars until 1934.
Truly the history, blood, sweat, and tears it took to build a house 150 years ago in America needs to be honored and respected as wood prices finally reflect some of the costs to our world for fuel, transport, and distribution centers to get it to you. Why not use the salvaged materials from so many cities and towns that have such a treasured surplus hiding in structures that are obsolete and need to come down? Why not turn that resource made long ago when kids carried the coal from mines to heat the clay to brick form, to create glass from sand in giant bubbles blown in pits by teens and cut before rolling out to create the panes of glass we can still use over 150 years later?
So many gifts at our fingertips and yet the privileged Americans snubbed their noses at what they thought was trash while others made millionaires from it simply smile. Yes, you can have so much if you just alter your perspicuity, the acuity of your perspective determines your perception of what is right before your eyes as valuable or trash. Imagination takes the trash and turns it into treasure with skills that anyone can learn, careers in the construction of Art Houses created with your hands, minds, and hearts as communities forming for the future, a world no one expected is over the horizon and real to nearly everyone.
There will be no normal as I grew up to believe was real again… for TV can no longer hold us in that trance state much longer. Reality is setting in despite the computer-generated versions of what is coming, snow still falls and NY is not under water, Gore was totally wrong, and someone may have planned the many “Demics” that will be gifted to the world for the holiday travel and festive gatherings. What a great opportunity for partying and mayhem, sadly.
Let us plan for a better world in the spring, or in a few years, however long this transition takes to find our footing once the winters beyond imagination are over. Please prepare for some unusual things to happen, no fear, just a plan that you and others can share if you care. The Pure Salvage Living Renaissance is about teaching the skills of the elders to the kids that do still want to learn as the pendulum swings and life skills like carpentry become as important or more than computer skills in a world that goes dark. What will people do when the electricity that was not there when this hardware and lumber, these incredible resources were made long ago. Where are the ingenuity and skills we would need to survive and thrive in primitive conditions once again?
I wish I knew… for to find out I call… help me create the Pure Salvage Outposts, Co-op locally supported by elders, creating tinier housing to downsize into and jobs locally to do the Reset American Craftsman style, with imagination and ingenuity, unique solutions on local levels because every community has different needs but can use these common foundations to build from, use resources at hand, and thus empower all to benefit.
This is a path I offer for virtually free if you just read, watch videos, and if you wish, support as we create the AirSpace Certificate program that may fund others if we can perfect it and prove the results… ergo Salvage, Tx… the birthplace, embassy, and launching pad for the Pure Salvage Living Renaissance. Please consider joining us for a visit to see, seek, find, and dream up your solutions in a Ship of Salvaged Dreams way. Spend a few hours on Walden Pond and traverse the Covered Bridge over Untroubled Waters to see as far as you can see into the future or the past. Then decide where you will go next in life to make the rest of yours the healthiest, most exciting part of your life.
To do that I am offering a package of materials, 10 of them, that can duplicate to some degree, not exactly, this first example was created long ago called the Red Mascot. You can have your choice of old milk paint colors or keep the grey, red, or old colors with oil to rejuvenate it. This will be a $10,000 package of wood, windows, doors, etc to build a match but not exact to this first example of what settlers built in Texas as well as much of the wood rich west in the olden days… 1800-1900’s.
They were added onto as I like to do but with other tiny houses that fit into the loopholes I adore, taxing voids that you can share legally, lovingly, and knowing that the money is better spent by you than Uncle Sam’s temporary stand-in comic at the podium.
Truly this is a nice way to play the LGBrandon Tax Plan to the advantage of the people instead of the rich who are taking us to the cleaners with taxes that feed their pet projects, Pelosi Park as the best example when I could build a thousand houses with that much money instead. Insanity reigns under the guise of “For the People” without honestly telling which people they mean… so until that day of Truth comes, why not have some fun?
Create villages with tiny houses from salvaged buildings and houses, having fun doing it, out amongst the friends with family ranches they could put a few that none might see to create a paradise that might let more of you stay Free. “I Sing the Song of Salvage” to Grow our future one community at a time with tiny houses surrounding the main communal area where Unity become Community that all who live there can be proud to be a part of. Blessings to your dreams.
