Once upon a time I created my Gypsy Cottage full of my favorite stained glass, strange trim, fantasy...
Bedrooms should be dreamy places created for your sleep. No TV needed in my bed for there I go to sleep instead. It hangs from ropes from up above... I love my sleep!
Your master suite should be a special place where you go to rest, not test how little rest you might get if you watch TV until you fall asleep. It is a place where you should not face artificial light deep into the night.
Your bedroom is not a place to do many things so why put a kitchen and giant closets, giant bathrooms as big as houses hold, or many other things just for restful sleep? Industrial countries, modern and rich, that in the end just use up resources, a waste of much that grows, with a very limited usable lifespan by intention. How is it that we have adapted to having such gigantic spaces to feel like we found success and peace?
Why not create a few tiny houses, a kitchen with an eating area for those who share it, a larger area with baths and showers, common areas, and resources? Truly, it is more sustainable and easier to share many things in a community rather than repeated house after house, often rarely used kitchens, bedrooms, and spaces because they are built as a standard inside of the houses, though you may seldom need the kitchen, let alone so much space for the simple things in life that are private.
