Once Upon a time there was a cottage in the woods, a peaceful place to live in that you never want to leave.
Why not create a tiny organic house from the treasures of the past... nearly for free?
Over the last 15 years, Tiny Texas Houses not only created over 75 different sizes and styles of organic 95% salvage materials built tiny houses that are known around the world. Style and a Spacemagic design that uses every cubic inch of space to create a feeling of a much bigger house, with the kitchenettes, baths, bedrooms, and porches all in a 100 square foot cottage. In a new article, a very short window, you could own and be a partner on a big portion of Salvage, Texas. Follow this time limited link.
Trinity will be here to host your visits to Salvage, Tx.
Many of the beautiful Tiny Texas Houses are in books of such great content as the one our Red Mascot is on the front cover of by: Lloyd Kahn called Tiny Homes Simple Shelter which chronicles the many variations of tiny houses that have been created around the USA, as well as other parts of the world. The amazing trend of downsizing in modernized countries is catching on as people simplify, destress, and attempt to spend more time enjoying life, being active, staying healthy, growing food, and other such things that simpler living gives us time to do. We have several pages inside of our houses created as examples of what you can do with 95% Pure Salvage Building as an ethos.
After the creator, Brad Kittel lost his son and only heir Adam who drowned in Paris in 2011, the business of creating houses for sales was shuttered and mothballed in hopes that a time would come when others would want to continue with the Pure Salvage Living Renaissance and build organic creating tiny cottages to live in, form villages around, and provide skills for the next generation that will enable them to become self-sustaining in as many ways as might be possible in the future. People are losing the skillsets needed to build with, the logic, tools usage, and even the ability to design are easily learned if there is a place to be taught and people to teach them.
With massive warehouses full of doors, windows, flooring, and miles of trim, beaded wood, siding, and all the parts and pieces to help others get their own houses built with American grown lumber from trees cut in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. I do hope you will get a chance to follow along as some of the people build their homesteads, their dreams out of the many parts Darby Lettick will be offering up as packages with financing at no interest and long term support for those who want to build a new world with the best of the past our ancestors harvested before the days of electricity.
The artisans of our past who created hardware, stained glass, cabinets, furniture, and others greatly crafted things we can still use to recreate our new forms of homes that this generation can hold onto like heirlooms in the future. Jewelry box homes are made with wood instead of the sheetrock and the intention of being able to move it one day. The idea of an energy-efficient off-grid capable tiny organic toxin-free cottage is growing in popularity but the people to build them, those with the skills or materials are hard to find.
For this reason, only through this newsletter and subscription, we will be offering all the information, the materials at incredible prices and with microloans for our followers to startup building everything from dog houses to chicken coops, playhouses to your first tiny houses all from the massive warehouses your membership will give you access to… otherwise, they are not open to the general public. That includes over 100,000 sf of materials like vintage doors, pocket doors, exterior doors, ornate to plain, as well as flooring in Oak, Long Leaf Pine, and much more.
The goal is to seed and support Pure Salvage Living Outposts where materials can be shipped and then assembled instead of wasting massive money shipping empty giant boxes of air… $5,000 to $15,000 to move on a few miles or a state away. Why not build them near or on the property once we ship the materials to a tiny house organic builder near you, or you become that needed person in the chain.
Each week an offering of information, building plans, contests, and totally free giveaways will be in the newsletter as well as what is going on at the ponds, caves, and paths in Salvage, Texas.
Please let us know if you are interested and contact Darby@Puresalvageliving.com for more information if you would like to open up a Pure Salvage Living Outpost one day.

I am very interested in starting a community of like minded people who know what hard work can produce. I would like any information you can share to “start this new path”. How can I find a good place to start? I need some ideas for creative financing to acquire land that will support this venture. What you have done is truly incredible
Hi there Brad and Darby! I am very passionate about starting a community such as this. Let's please connect. I think we have before a year or so ago...how funny life is when the timing is divine! Look forward to hearing from you.
