The idea of this video series on Substack is to show and tell, to see, learn, and then decide if there is a following that would like to know more. If so, the series will continue on many levels, including what I have learned and collected and how to speed up your processing of these fascinating areas of architectural salvage mining, building, and hunting. This is a genuinely unmatched stash of stuff about to be put into the hands of many to create a new generation of small housing to grow in the families that are reconsolidating and don’t want storage sheds lined up in the backyard to call houses on wheels for a decade before calling them a big problem.
Let me show you what the options are, and you decide if you want to try to incorporate such treasures for a little bit more and life long return on your investents in your home that will lead to a healthier life, not to mention a home that could roam. Tiny Texas Houses proved what could be done and now I want to get some help so as to make it available to near everyone that wants to create co-ops locally so that you can rejuvenate and build before the others even get the parts. No ordering and waiting long if you have a friend with a big trailer and come on. We could load you and do some designs so you could go back, not build blind, and have the many videos that I have up on YouTube to show you how to do most anything if you watch the video, or are a paid subscriber, consulting is a benefit, appraising if its worth it for you to salvage locally and built with what you get.
What should you be wary of in salvaging a house or a barn, a building that was something like an apartment or a store? Industrial salvage or even barns can have some hazards to be way of and I teach that in the episode that you can watch and see, then know. This is just a preview, if you like and share I will make more.
