I collected hardware for a decade, at a rate that few can imagine. I accumulated 20,000 unique pieces plus many copies. Much of the inventory will be put up for sale in the coming greatest Builders Hardware and parts from the past to ever happen in Texas.
Starting July 1st and going through the month, weekends for public viewing, weekdays for private appointments.
It will be possible to get all those windows, doors, floors, trim, and parts to build for a fraction of the cost of inferior newer parts from big-box stores. You will have real wood without cutting down the thousand-year-old trees this wood came from.
You can have handblown glass in windows that will last for a lifetime. Why not?
Most contractors do not want to do the extra work to gain the extra quality. How can that be? So, the goal is to get more people to build this way and satisfy a growing demand for healthy housing that will let you live a long life in a home that will be there long after you go, so that your loved ones can also live there once you are gone.
